We are currently offering Proctoring Services virtually and in-person by appointment. Please contact our office at 480-965-7146; email@example.com to evaluate if virtual proctoring is a feasible option for your testing needs due to the COVID-19 situation and or to schedule an in-person appointment.
Please be advised that properly wearing a face cover is mandatory in all ASU buildings, and face coverings are to be worn for the duration of the exam. Single-layer neck fleece covers, also known as gaiters, and face coverings with valves do not satisfy the requirement for use of a face covering on campus.
Please do not come to the testing center if you are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of smell or taste, sore throat, muscle pain). If you are feeling ill on the day of the exam or if you believe you have been exposed in the last 14 days to someone who was currently positive or awaiting results for COVID-19, please contact our office to reschedule the exam.

University Testing and Scanning Services proctors paper-based and computer-based exams in adherence to the proctoring requirements of your institution. We subscribe to the NCTA Professional standards and guidelines.
There are two options to schedule a proctored exam.
Option A: Student and staff coordinate a time and date that works with your schedule. In this situation, you would pay for a block of time per the allotted time your professor has designated to complete the exam. Then contact our office at 480-965-7146 or firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate an appointment that meets your needs.

Option B: Self-register for a proctor appointment by selecting a date and time within the registration system. Please note availability is limited.

You may register online for a proctored exam. You will pre-pay for your appointment and there will be no refunds for unused time or canceled appointments. You must schedule your appointment for the amount of time allotted for your exam, not the time that you think it will take you to complete the exam. If you are taking more than one exam a separate appointment must be scheduled for each exam. If you choose to reschedule your appointment there will be a $15 transfer fee. All transfers must be made ON or BEFORE your originally scheduled appointment.
Proctoring appointments are based on availability and length of test. Length of test refers to the allotted time designated by the faculty member. If you are taking more than one exam you must schedule a separate appointment for each exam. All proctored testing must be complete by 4:30 PM.
All appointments must be paid for and scheduled at least 2 business days in advance of your desired test date. It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements for their exam to be sent and received at our test center by the scheduled exam date.
Exams that need to be returned by mail must include a stamped addressed envelope indicating the university, college, department and professor's name. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure sufficient postage and return address is accurate.

You must present a current and valid photo ID bearing your name and your signature (e.g., driver’s license, passport) on the day of your test. YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TEST WITHOUT PROPER ID. Please call us if you have questions about IDs.
Please do not register for a group testing time.
Academic testing accommodations for qualified students can be granted through the Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services (SAILS) - Phone: (480) 965-1234. Do this as soon as possible.
Once registered and approved, individual testing arrangements with UTSS must be made by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via phone (480) 965-7146.

Lot 55 - University Center [UCNTRB] parking fees are $3/hr or $15/day. Please pre-pay for your parking before coming to the Testing & Scanning Services Office. The parking machine, operated by Parking and Transit Services, accepts Visa or MasterCard, and is located by the front entrance to each building. Please remember your license plate number, as it will be required to make your payment. The Park Mobile parking zone is #60112. When considering your payment, please add an additional 1/2 hour to your allotted exam to included check-in and check-out.
