The purpose of assessment at ASU is to collect information about student learning for reflection and continual improvement of our teaching, learning and curriculum. The University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness (UOEEE) consults with academic units as they develop and implement valid and reliable assessment strategies to improve student learning at the program level and general education. The primary goal is to develop a culture of continuous improvement which sustains data based decision making.
