Registration

Certiport testing sessions are available all year long - including summer and winter breaks!

Certiport certifications must be paid in two separate payments: a $35 non-refundable administrative fee paid to ASU and an exam voucher fee paid directly to Certiport. You can purchase your Certiport certification voucher at store.certiport.com. ASU administrative registration fees are non-refundable.

Exam vouchers are e-mailed and are non-refundable. All vouchers must be used by their expiration dates (in CT: Central Time). Vouchers and retake vouchers expire at 11:59:59 P.M. CT on the day of the expiration date.

Once a test candidate has obtained a voucher, you should assign it to yourself immediately. Ensure you have the voucher before sitting for an exam. If you have not assigned it to yourself, before arriving write or print the code and bring it with you.

The voucher code is valid for one year (12 months) from the date of purchase. To schedule an exam date, register using the register button below and pay a non-refundable, $35 administrative fee.

Schedule an appointment

Click on the Register Online button below.

Select > Certiport under step 1. Select the corresponding information and submit payment to complete the registration process.

You must bring your valid Certiport voucher code to your test session. If you don't have a valid voucher code or if your code has expired, you won't be permitted to test. Voucher codes are only valid for one attempt and cannot be reused.

**Adobe candidates – If you do not have an Adobe account, create one before your appointment. Your Adobe username and password are required to take the exam.

***Autodesk candidates – create an account with Autodesk before your exam date. Candidates that register to take an Autodesk exam need to have an Autodesk account and license.

Reschedule

You may reschedule your exam appointment to another test date under the following conditions:

Space is available on the requested test date.
Your Certiport voucher code is valid on the transfer date of your transfer appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure the voucher code is valid. If your voucher code expires, you will need to purchase a new one from Certiport. The testing center cannot verify expiration dates as it does not have access to Certiport information.
All transfers must be made ON or BEFORE your originally scheduled appointment. After the originally scheduled appointment date, a full administrative fee will be required.

4. Choose a date, time, and complete the form
5. Add to cart and pay the $15.00 reschedule fee with a credit card.

Time

Most exams are approximately 1 to 2 hours in length. Examinees should allow 2.5 to 3 hours for the total appointment time which includes check- and check-out.

Retake

Some vouchers are also available with a retake option. Vouchers with retakes are sold separately, and retake codes alone do not exist for purchase. A retake voucher code will only be issued if you have purchased an "exam voucher with retake" product. The retake voucher code can only be redeemed for the exact same exam that was administered in the first failed attempt. You cannot take a different exam with a retake voucher code. This will be a different expiration date than the original voucher code redeemed for the initial exam attempt. Expiration dates on retake codes cannot be extended for any reason. Test candidates are encouraged to redeem their vouchers or sit for a retake, well before the expiration date if possible.

Admission

All Test Candidates are required to create a Certiport profile. Create one here! Examinees must preregister at least 24 hours in advance. Exam vouchers are transmitted electronically via e-mail and it may take up to 2 business days, so it is highly recommended that Certiport candidates register for an appointment after you receive your voucher number. Walk-ins on the day of the exam are not permitted. You must check in at least 20 minutes before your appointment time to be admitted. Test entrance requires a voucher code from the Certiport and a valid, unexpired ID from the list below. The name on your ID must match the name on your voucher. Your ID must be a government-issued ID that includes your name, signature, and a recent recognizable photograph. Acceptable forms of identification include:

Current driver's license
Current state or federal ID card
Current passport
Tribal ID card
Naturalization card or certificate of citizenship
Permanent Resident Card (green card)

Scores

You will receive an exam score report upon completion. The exam score report is also accessible within your Certiport profile. It is Certiport’s policy to not provide additional documentation regarding certification passing scores or other exam metrics that may be considered proprietary information.

Registration and rescheduling fees are non-refundable.

Parking

Lot 55 - University Center [UCNTRB] parking fees are $3/hr. or $15/day. Pre-pay for parking before coming to the Testing & Scanning Services Office. Payment can be made by using the Park Mobile app (parking zone #60112) or AMP. When considering the payment for your exam, consider check-in and check-out time for the exam, as well as the full length of the exam.
