University Testing and Scanning Services (UTSS), a unit of the University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness, supports the university by providing professional, secure, quality testing and scanning services to students, faculty, staff, and the community. UTSS is committed to providing courteous and knowledgeable staff while also maintaining a testing environment that is up-to-date, comfortable, accessible, and conducive for all examinees. University Testing and Scanning Services adheres to test companies’, faculty members,’ and the National College Testing Association’s (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.
University Testing and Scanning Services administers computer- and paper-based standardized admission and distance learning examinations. This does not include any ASU classroom or make up examinations. We also provide accurate and timely optical-mark-reader scanning for classroom examinations and research data processing. We are members of the National College Testing Association and subscribe to the highest standards of testing services.

Academic Year: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. *Closed on university holidays.
Lot 55 - University Center [UCNTRB] parking fees are $2/hr or $10/day. Please pre-pay for your parking before coming to the Testing & Scanning Services Office. The parking machine, operated by Parking and Transit Services, accepts credit or debit cards. You can also pay by using the Park Mobile app. Cash is not accepted. Please remember your license plate number, as it will be required to make your payment. The Park Mobile parking zone is #60112. When considering your parking payment for your exam please consider your check in and check out time for the exam, as well as the length of the exam.
